Here's the link http://serv.sharedbook.com/pilot/memorybookMarketingPageTop.do for all those interested in making a book out of their blog. Prices depend on the number of pages in your book, but you can preview all of that before you buy. It's very self-explanatory. Good luck!

Chase can count!!!
The most amazing thing just happened! Chase just came up to me and said mommy! 1-2-3-4-5-6! I'm so excited!!!! He'll count to 10 if I do it with him but he did that much on his own and out of no-where!!!!
I can't stand it...
Okay...I've been trying to resist the urge...but I can't take it...so here's a couple more pictures of the house!

The house was built in 1900 and has the original slate roof so that's why there is discoloration on it...but it is structurally sound and the color just adds to the character. It obviously needs some landscaping that we'll work on in the spring.

One of the things I was saddest about "losing" in the other house was the built-in china cabinet...well here we have a built in buffet with beautiful stained glass windows above it (bet you can appreciate that Carla!!). There are also some leaded glass windows at the front of the house!

The back of the house has a nice covered porch with an added covered patio and a brand new privacy fence...we'll have to close off the yard from the carports hopefully before winter sets in so Rascal can have the run of the yard! Can't you just picture a jungle gym in that yard??

This is the entrance to...

the Secret "Hide-out" of the Raber Boys! This room is accessible through the above door which is inside their bedroom!!
This house is truly a diamond in the rough and we are so excited that we get to be part of the history of this amazing home. It needs some work but the work the current owners have done is just beautiful. The kitchen needs a complete remodel that we're hoping to do in about a year...hopefully I can get by until then! Thanks for sharing in our excitement! Guess I need to learn how to build a fire, huh?

Accepted Offer #2
Hey all...just a quick update. We received a call from our real estate agent tonight...and much to our amazement, our offer was accepted!! We totally expected to have to negotiate but the couple is just ready for their divorce to be final and want to sell the house as fast as possible. I'm really in shock...excited, but shocked!

Here's another teaser pic...the back yard, garage, and car ports.

House #2
House #2 is now on the block...so to speak. We have made an offer and we'll see how things progress over the next few days. We like this house much more than the other and this one is twice the size of it! It's a lot of house and does need some work but as Matt says...this one has everything we were both looking for! Even a "secret" playroom for the boys! It has a great basement that could easily be finished to include a couple of bedrooms. It has a bathroom on all 3 levels...which is great with 2 boys wanting to go potty! Pray for speediness!

Visiting Family & Friends
Last Sunday the boys and I traveled to the big city of Odon, Indiana to visit our family and friends. We had a great...but VERY scheduled visit. We could only stay until Thursday morning because we had appointments to attend on Friday. Here are some pictures from our visit.

Our friends Angie & Caitlyn. I met Angie shortly after having Peyton and had not seen Caitlyn since she was 3 weeks old. She's such a "big" girl and busy, busy! It was so great to see them!

Angie's sister, Brenda and her 2 boys, Jaden & Christopher modeling their Halloween costume. I met Brenda at Angie's baby shower and she is one of my blogging buddies...it was great to get to see her and meet her boys...they are sooo cute!

This is baby Joe! He is the son of our friends Dan & Ashley...and he just came home to be part of his forever family! Look at the face...and he is every bit as sweet as he looks!

Ashley reading to Peyton and her son Sam watching. Sam is exactly one month older than Chase...a Christmas baby!! Same is so smart! It totally amazed me at how well he can speak...he can even sing some songs!! It was so cute!

Me and all the boys! Peyton, my nephews Logan and Bryce, and Chase making his "cheese" face!
My other pictures didn't turn out very well. I mostly used my video camera at Matt's parents' and his gramma's. What pictures I did take weren't very good...and I completely forgot to use my camera and my gramma's house. But we did get to see everyone and I really enjoyed spending one evening with just my sisters. We watched 27 Dresses...it was great! Well...I need to get off of here.
